The Person I'm Hurting
I laugh when I see you,
and cry when you're away.
I redden when you talk to the opposite gender,
and leave me in the dust.
It saddens me when I come to you crying,
with tears running down my cheeks,
and you can do is watch me.
Every second you leave me alone in the dark,
the crack in my heart widens,
and I feel more pain than love when you hold me tightly.
How can you abondon me,
when I'm lying through my teeth,
just to be with you?
How can you smile,
when you know something is wrong?
I wish I can be strong like you,
and not be a coward and get the knife out.
